Making Strides 2007 H.U.G. Campaign

Today I drove Pearlie to her cancer treatment…

We chatted on the ride home and while getting out of my car she said, “there just wasn’t enough time.” I realized that for Pearlie, every moment matters. As a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, I see first hand the difference that you are making in the lives of many. YOUR donations support programs such as the “Road to Recovery,” just one that I find extremely gratifying to be involved in.

I started participating in the American Cancer Society’s San Diego Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in 2000, after my friend Victoria’s diagnosis. My participation in this event has provided me the opportunity to “do something” to help fight this tragic disease of our times. Won’t you help me make that difference? I’m sure that with your help, this year’s October 21st 4 mile walk in Balboa Park will be better than all those that have past. Last year you helped me to raise $103,000 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, please open your hearts and your wallets and join me in my 2007 H.U.G. campaign to raise over $125,000.

I love traditional hugs, but today I want you to consider a new kind of H.U.G. and Heighten Unleashed Generosity! Please consider the difference your generous donations can make today. Let’s work together to give Pearlie more “moments” and to ensure future moments for you and your loved ones.

Make your on-line donation now

No matter how small your actions may seem, let everything that you do to help others, transform your heart to only a place that “Giving” can take you.

If you’re already in the Circle THANK YOU! And, if you’re new to the Circle, WELCOME!!
Consider Yourself  HUGGED!
